The family has been enjoying an awesome vacation in my homeland! Yep--we are in Happy Valley again! So far, we have enjoyed my Jensen Family Reunion in
Hobble Creek Canyon, the
Freedom Festival in Provo (parade too--don't forget), red and blue hair extensions (the girls--not me),
Stadium of Fire, sunset B-B-Q at Utah Lake, etc. You really get more BANG FOR YOUR BUCK here in Utah---in my humble opinion. Today we are going to be at Scera Pool in Orem.
Tomorrow's plan? Probably Park City resort. We are seriously having a great time! I especially love the thought that I can "swing by" a home to grab a cousin to come along on our adventures. We really,
really miss that in Cali.
It goes without saying that we
never want our Utah vacations to end!!

Okay... so many things this summer. First and foremost, hangin by the pool, sportin a good tan. Then 10 year High School reunion. AND the best, going away for 2 days by myself, and some girlfriends to read Breaking Dawn. Then my summer ends, and my kids go to school August 12!!! yeah. That pool look like fun! And a lot of pee! Sorry, that's what I thought of right when I saw all those people. Thank goodness for Chloryne(sp?)
Uh, when are you coming to see your best Toontown buddies, the Bucklein's?? We live on 600 N ya know!!

Did you go to THE stadium of fire? The one with Hannah Montanna??? NOW I am jealous. I wasn't before you know. Nope. Just because you get to light REAL fireworks, stay up late with family, or "swing by" and grab a cousin cause they all live there. No reason to be jealous here. nope. Go ahead, shop at Smiths, pass 6 malls on a 20 mile stretch of new highway, and get a large fountain drink at Hearts. nope. still not jealous. nope.
Same thing we have bene doing for the past TWO summers....building our house. It is all consuming!! We hope that next year we can actually enjoy our summer with fishing, driving to Kalispell on the "Going to the Sun Road" in Montana with NO TRAILER!!!!, throwing rocks into Waterton Lake just miles from here, and using our quad for something other than zipping down to the house to see the progress.
Glad you are having such a great time in Utah! You know, we are only another twelve hours in the car away. Come on, be adventuresome and visit us!!!
I love Park City--I just love it! Have so much fun. We're beaching it and taking swimming lessons: now I have a shark, a barracuda, and a Jr. Lifeguard. Water wins this summer.
I am so happy for you that you can spend time in Utah. I know how you love Happy Valley!! We spent Fourth of July in Utah a few years ago, and I was very impressed with the parade and all the goings on in Provo!!
We have just been busy at camps!! Three camps for Evan, two for me so far. I'm actually ready to just be at home!!
We are hoping beyond hope to make it to the wonderful Cali. I am tired of Utah. Let's trade. Hope to see everyone the 1st weekend in August
